Previously, he worked for WCCB-TV in Charlotte, North Carolina as a weeknight anchor. In addition, Hawkins helped lead WCCB-TV’s coverage of the Democratic National Convention.
Hawkins also reported live from Washington, D.C. during Charlotte Mayor Anthony Foxx’s confirmation hearing for the U.S. Transportation Secretary.
