Maureen Kyle is an American Emmy award-winning news anchor presently working at WKYC as the morning news anchor and reporter. She anchors the “Morning Newsfeed at 4:30 am which airs on WKYC Studios in Cleveland, Ohio. Kyle graduated from Fordham University with a bachelor’s degree in Arts in Communication and Media Studies.
She kicked off her career at WAVE 3 TV Raycom Media where she served as a reporter. The SPJ named her the Best Feature Reporter in 2014. Her broadcast career began at WFUV radio in New York City and she covered the 9-11 terrorist attacks. Kyle started at WKYC-TV in March 2007 serving as a morning news anchor for the 3News morning show.
She has covered various topics ranging from winter blizzards to swimming with stingrays, to breaking news. She grew up in Northeast Ohio and was a WKYC viewer where she enjoyed watching the evening news. Her dream was to become a journalist and work in her hometown.
