Nick Ciletti Biography
Nick Ciletti is a five-time Emmy award-winning American journalist who currently serves as the weekday morning anchor for ABC15 from 4:30 a.m. to 7 a.m. He joined the network in July of 2014. As an anchor, Ciletti has helped take viewers through some of Arizona’s most historic and effective moments, from the 2020 Election, the passing of Senator John McCain, and a statewide teacher strike.
In addition, Ciletti is devoted to his work in the field. In April 2022, he traveled to Poland to profile Ukrainian refugees. He received an Emmy for his reporting on the fatal Independence High School shooting where he interviewed involved family members live with his iPhone. Ciletti’s reporting from Mexico also put a human face to the immigration crisis. He profiled a Valley father who had lost his appeal for asylum.
Moreover, Ciletti has reported on some of the major stories that have shaped the country. He went to Florida to cover Hurricane Irma, one of the major storms ever recorded in the Atlantic. He as well reported from the front lines of the fatal Woolsey Fire in Southern California, showing how Arizona fire crews were contributing to the fight.

Regarding his schooling, Ciletti attended the University of Miami’s School of Communication where he majored in Broadcast Journalism and Spanish. He also obtained a certificate in U.S. Immigration Law from American University. Moreover, he finished his Master’s in Studies in Law from the University of Southern California’s Gould School of Law in May of 2022. Ciletti also spent a semester in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and is fluent in Spanish.
Furthermore, Ciletti is a cancer survivor and loves to give back. He volunteered at Phoenix Children’s hospital from 2016 until the start of the pandemic.
