Poppy Harlow born Katharine Julia Harlow is an American journalist, who is currently working as an anchor of CNN This Morning and is based at CNN’s New York news bureau. Previously she worked as a co-anchor of CNN Newsroom weekdays from 9 A.M. to 11 A.M. She then became a business correspondent at CNN, CNN International and HLN. Poppy worked also as an anchor for CNNMoney.com; and a Forbes.com Video Network anchor, reporter and producer.
Poppy began her professional career as an intern at CBS. After college she continued working for CBS MarketWatch and as an assistant producer for CBS Newspath. Later Poppy became an anchor and reporter for NY1 News’ Local Edition. While at NY1, her news beat covered Staten Island and New Jersey, including reports on local politics, the economy and local cultural events.
Poppy was employed by Forbes.com Video Network in September 2007, where her area of coverage grew to fashion, entertainment and business topics.
