Rita Braver is a renowned American television news correspondent, presently working with CBS News. She is well known for her investigative journalism on White House scandals like the Iran-Contra affair. On May 15, 2022, she celebrated her 50th anniversary of working for CBS News.
Regarding her schooling, Braver attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she received a degree in political science. She worked a few years at WWL-TV in New Orleans as a copy girl prior to moving to Washington, D.C. with her husband and joining CBS as a producer in 1972.
