Ron Smiley is an American meteorologist and weather forecaster working for KDKA in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He serves as a morning weekday meteorologist since joining the station in 2015. Prior to joining KDKA, Smiley was working for FOX 59 WXIN as a meteorologist in Indianapolis.
What’s more, Ron went to Little Rock Catholic High School where he earned his diploma. Later, he got enrolled at Arkansas Tech University and graduated with a bachelor of art degree in broadcast journalism in 2000. His fascination with weather developed at a young age since he loved to hang out in the garden and talk about clouds with his neighbor who was working for the National Weather Service.
