Shannon Bream is an American journalist and attorney who currently appears on Fox News Channel. She joined the network in 2007 as a Washington D.C- based correspondent covering the Supreme Court. In 2022 she became the host of the program Fox News Sunday.
Previously Shannon was the host of Fox News @ Night for five years. Before joining FNC, Shannon worked as a weekend anchor for WRC-TV (NBC-4) in Washington, D.C. Prior to that, she anchored the evening and late-night news for WBTV (CBS-3) in Charlotte, NC, and held writing and reporting positions at WFTS-TV (ABC-28) in Tampa, FL.
However, apart from being a journalist, she was also a former contestant in the Miss America 1991 and Miss USA 1995 pageants. Shannon was also a correspondent for NEWS 12 Long Island in the 1990s.

Later she became the anchor/host of Fox News @ Night. On September 11, 2022, Shannon became the permanent anchor of Fox News Sunday where she replaced Chris Wallace.
Shannon began her journalist career in 2011 when she became the evening and late-night news reporter for the CBS affiliate, WBTV. After working three years at WBTV, Bream joined Washington D.C.’s NBC affiliate WRC-TV in 2004. While at WRC-TV, Shannon was a weekend anchor and covered general assignments.
When she was still at WRC-TV, Shannon met Brit Hume, who was the managing editor of the Fox News Channel’s Washington Bureau. With Brit’s encouragement, Shannon submitted audition tapes to Fox News.
