Shardul Thakur is an Indian International cricketer. He is a bowler who bats right-handed and bowls right-arm medium pace. Previously, he was criticized for his lack of height for a fast bowler and for being overweight. However, apart from that, he ultimately became a part of the Mumbai domestic team.
Thakur made his first-class debut in November 2012 for Mumbai against Rajasthan at Jaipur in the 2012 and 2013 Ranji Trophy. Later in 2016, he was named in India’s 16-man squad for India’s limited-overs squad for the series against Sri Lanka. Additionally, he became the second Indian cricketer to wear the number 10 jersey after Sachin Tendulkar, which raised a lot of controversial comments on social media.
