Sue Serio is an American journalist who is currently working as an anchor and reporter at FOX 29 News. She joined the station in 1997 as a weather anchor for “Good Day Philadelphia.” Prior to joining FOX 29, she worked as a co-anchor of the WAKE-UP morning show on CBS affiliate WIVB-TV, in Buffalo, New York.
Talking about her education, she is a cum laude graduate of Townson University in Maryland. She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication. While at the university, she started her professional career in radio at WMAR-FM in Baltimore. She then went on to host numerous radio shows on many different stations.
Serio is a five-time Emmy nominee from the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. She was honored by the Academy in November 1994. In June 1995, she received the Certificate in Broadcast Meteorology from Mississippi State University.
