Adam Duxter is an American journalist who currently works as a news reporter at WCCO-TV in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He joined the station in December of 2021. Duxter was born and raised in Metro Detroit and he loves all things Michigan, however, he is now excited to call Minnesota home. Regarding his schooling, Adam graduated from the University of Missouri (M-I-Z!) in 2018.
Previously, from June 2018 to December 2021, Duxter worked for CBS at WISC-TV in Madison, Wisconsin as a news reporter. While there, he married his college sweetheart, who worked against him at a competing news station in town. In October 2021, a new opportunity for his wife brought the pair to Minnesota.
Before WISC-TV, Duxter worked as a reporter at KOMU 8 and Mid-Missouri CW. Prior to that, he served as a tour guide at the University of Missouri in Columbia. In addition, he served as a production assistant at Bally Sports West, SoCal & San Diego.
Moreover, Duxter is delighted to engage himself in all of the things that make the Twin Cities so special. Currently, he and his wife call the city of Bloomington home. In his free time, Duxter enjoys watching Detroit sports teams try their best, spending time with family and friends, discovering new music, playing guitar, reading, and visiting cool coffee shops.
