Brian Entin Biography
Brian Entin is an Emmy award-winning American journalist currently serving as NewsNation’s Senior National Correspondent. He joined the station in July 2020. Previously, Entin worked as an investigative reporter at WSVN-TV 7News. While at WSVN, Brian covered various major hurricanes such as the Dorian from The Bahamas, Irma in the Florida Keys, as well as the restoration attempts following Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico.
Entin spent his first 100 days mostly on the Trump presidency in Washington, DC. He has garnered Emmy Awards for his reporting of the effects of the Fuego Volcano eruption in Guatemala and his reporting of the death of Cuban dictator Fidel Castro.
In addition, Entin broadly covered the Parkland school shooting in 2018 and was the first reporter to gather video of the shooter attacking deputies in jail. Moreover, he was the first reporter with the video of Charles Kinsey, an unarmed man with his hands in the air shot by police in North Miami.
Before Miami, Brian worked as a reporter at WPTV in West Palm Beach, WTOC in Savannah, and KTVO in Kirksville, Missouri.
