Jermont Terry is an American journalist who is currently working as a reporter and anchor at CBS2 Chicago since joining the station in October 2019. Terry is really happy to return home to report on his community after 18 years of covering stories across the country.
Prior to joining his current station, he worked as the lead night side reporter at WDIV-TV, the NBC station in Detroit. While there, he led breaking news coverage and broke the story about fatal remains left behind in an unused funeral home.
Before moving to Detroit, he was the chief investigative reporter in Milwaukee. His career has taken him to many places on the basis of work. He has worked for stations like WKYT-TV in Lexington, WXXII-TV, and WLFI-TV, in West Lafayette, Indiana.
