Steven Graves is an American journalist who is currently working as a multimedia reporter for CBS2 Chicago since joining the station in September 2019. He comes to Chicago after three years of service as a fill-in anchor and MMJ at WVEC in Norfolk, Virginia.
Graves attended Salisbury University in Salisbury, Maryland where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts and Media Production in May 2014. He went on to begin his career as a fill-in anchor and MMJ at KVII in Amarillo, Texas.
Graves says that he loves journalism because of the opportunity to advocate for people every day who normally might not have a voice. In addition, he loves seeing a piece come together and telling extraordinary stories through shooting videos.
